TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All our entertainers have a WWCC (Working with Children Check).
We have a Public Liability Insurance to the Value of $20,000,00 and Workers Compensation.
Running a small business can be tough at times, especially when cancellations occur. It puts everyone out of work and we still need to pay our bills, especially when looking after our own little families. This is why we have to put following policies in place (written with love :-) )
Note: All bookings secured with a deposit are considered as acceptance of the terms and conditions below and form a contract between Little Feet Events and the client.
If Little Feet Events has not requested a deposit to be paid, these Terms and Conditions are considered to be accepted upon your written or verbal confirmation of the booking, unless Little Feet Events advised otherwise
1.Booking Policy
1.1. A deposit of $150 is required within 24 hrs to secure all bookings. If the deposit is not made, the slot will be released and may be filled by another booking.
All deposit payments are non-refundable.
1.2. All invoices must be paid in full at least 10 days before the booking date, unless Little Feet Events has agreed otherwise.
You will receive invoice reminders in the lead up to your event.
1.3 Additional Fees
Travel fees may apply to certain locations. We will communicate such fees upon booking. In case the location of your event changes after making a booking to a location where a travel fee would usually occur, we reserve the right to invoice you for these additional travel fees.
Parking fees may apply where no free parking is available for the entertainer. We kindly ask you to notify Little Feet Events if any additional parking costs will occur before your event takes place so we can invoice accordingly. Little Feet Events reserve the right to invoice you for the parking fee after your booking.
2.Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
2,1. All deposits are non-refundable.
2.2 Rescheduling and Cancellation
2.2.1. Cancellations made up to 14 days prior to the booking are eligible for rescheduling without any extra fees (subject to availability).
2.2.2. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the booking, 100% of the booking fee occurs, even if the event gets rescheduled.
2.2.3 In the rare occasion where Little Feet Events has to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will do our very best to find a replacement entertainer(s). If we are unable to fulfil the booking, a full refund will be provided. Any extra costs incurred by the client ie: booking an alternative supplier, will not be covered by Little Feet Events.
3.Wet weather
Little Feet Events highly recommend having a back up plan in the event of rain.
4. Limitations and Liabilities
4.1. The client agrees that the client, or such other nominated adult, will be present at all times and will be responsible for the supervision of the event and you will advise Little Feet Events of who that supervising adult is prior to the commencement of the entertainment.
4.2. Little Feet Events will not be held responsible for the behaviour of any child or any other person attending at the client’s event.
4.3. If the behaviour of a child or guest at the event becomes unacceptable, Little Feet Events reserves the right to cease the entertainment at the discretion of the entertainer.
4.4. The client agrees that Little Feet Events will not in any way be liable to the client or any other person for any damage, loss or injury suffered by the client or any other persons while participating in the event, however such damage, loss or injury, may be caused, whether by our act, default, omission or negligence and the client agrees to indemnify Little Feet Events in respect of such injury, loss or damage.
4.5. You agree that while Little Feet Events of any special requirements of any child or event guests, including but not limited to allergies or other mental, emotional or physical issues, which may affect the entertainment we choose to provide, and you agree to indemnify Little Feet Events in respect of any claim which may arise as a result of your misrepresentation or failure to make such a disclosure.
5. Services
5.1. Working within different scenarios can produce varied results as an example different age groups yield different results.
5.2. In some instances such as heavy traffic, unforeseen delays etc. our entertainer(s) may arrive late to the event. As we pride ourselves on punctuality and professionalism , we will endeavour to either stay longer or work faster to make sure we meet the contracted services.
5.3. If the booked event finishes earlier than expected by the client, no refunds will be given.
5.4. The massive bubbles can only be made outside. The best surface to do the bubbles on is concrete. Gras is fine as well. The entertainer will analyse on the day if it's safe to do the bubbles. In the occasion the entertainer decides the floor is not ideal and unsafe to do the bubbles on, the entertainer will instead do different activities. We will not be held responsible for lack of adequate space & as a result of not being able to provide this service, will not be issuing any refunds.
6. Client Obligations
6.1. To ensure the event is a success, we ask clients to provide the best possible work space for our entertainer(s). This includes but is not limited to: adequate space to conduct our services, shade, lighting, tables and chairs (if required) and bathroom access.
7. Health & Safety
7.1 Face painting is not recommended for kids under 3 years old or kids that are not able to sit still.
7.2 In the interest of health and safety, we will not be able to paint people with the following conditions: contagious diseases such as measles, german measles or chickenpox, contagious skin conditions such as cold sores, ringworm, scabies, impetigo, sore or broken skin, any inflamed/itchy skin condition, anyone suffering from known allergies to cosmetics & conjunctivitis.
7.3 The area to be painted must be cleaned with soap & warm water or a moist towelette by the parent or guardian taking care around eyes, wiping runny noses & around the mouth. If anyone present has sensitive skin, food allergies or reactions to soaps, creams or dyes, it is the responsibility of the host/parent/guardian to notify the entertainer(s) who, at their discretion, may perform a small patch test or may choose not to paint the person.
7.4 Our face painting products are water-based, removing them is easy with soap and warm water. Some colours are more highly pigmented than others and may leave a slight tint on the skin, for this we recommend a second wash or coconut oil. We do not recommend using baby wipes as these could cause skin irritation.
7.5To ensure that games remain fun & safe, we ask that guests follow the instructions & guidelines given by our entertainer(s). Little Feet Events will not be held responsible for any injuries incurred as a result of guests not following safety instructions.
Please note:
We only use high quality and non toxic face paint, However we advise parents to not let your children get face paint if they have sensitive skin. The parents of the children being painted accept all responsibilities for any skin reactions that may occur.
8. Giant Bubbles
We can only do massive bubbles outdoors. We cannot do them indoors, on tiles or wooden floors. Bubbles might not work in stormy weather or extreme weather condition, refund not applicable. The entertainer will play more games instead or do more face/arm painting.
